I'm a software developer living in Menlo Park, California.
I graduated with a Computer Science degree from Fudan University in Shanghai. Having studied artificial intelligence and forensic document examination for a few years at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, I dropped out of the Ph.D. program to build code obfuscation software. From January 2007 to May 2015, I worked at Google as a software engineer (and later, tech lead) on a diverse range of products: personalized homepage, OpenSocial, web search for mobile phones and tablets, Google+, fiber designing tools, wireless spectrum sharing, and sundries of smaller projects.
The name "zmxv" is a random collection of letters, alluding to the theme of my blog (or the lack thereof).
